Soul Tune Allstars & Maria Sanchez [2023] - Oh Your Love [Soul Tune]

Maria Sanchez (aka Groovy MS) from Riverside, CA has another new single on Swedish (Stockholm) label Soul Tune, "Oh Your Love", which features the house band Soul Tune Allstars aka producer and bandleader Niclas Wretelid and Finnish guitarist Mikko Räisänen (of Chicken Grass). 

This song, along with another we received by Carlton J Smith, a blaxploitation-inspired tune, "Looking For Trouble", will feature on an upcoming Soul Tune album "The Soul Of The Viking".

Maria Sanchez [2022] - Hey Love / Give Me Your Lovin' [Soul Tune #ST4508]

Both sides of this 7" release have been previously released and posted digitally. First came "Hey Love" on 4 Feb followed by "Give Me Your Lovin'" on 18 Feb.

They are both now available on 7" vinyl from 3 Jun from Bandcamp via Stockholm based label Soul Tune run by Niclas Wretelid, one of the members of the Soul Tunes Allstars.

Maria Sanchez (aka Groovy MS from Riverside, CA) also released "Dynamite" / "Sensation" May 2021.

Maria Sanchez Feat. Soul Tune Allstars [2022] - Give Me Your Lovin' [Soul Tune]

On 4 Feb 2022 Soul tune released "Hey Love" by Maria Sanchez which at the time I thought a bit odd as they usually release two sides as they are then available on vinyl. Well I'm not disappointed as it would appear that the other side "Give Me Your Lovin'" was released today (18 Feb 2022). 

Again it is another retro sounding tune but with a contemporary feel.

One that I missed on Friday (4 Feb 2021) that Gary Van Den Bussche played on his Starpoint Radio  lunchtime show today is a new single, "Hey Love", from Maria Sanchez  (aka Groovy MS from Riverside, CA) who's last single "Dynamite" / "Sensation" was released and posted in May 2021.

Both are released on Stockholm based label Soul Tune run by Niclas Wretelid, one of the members of the Soul Tunes Allstars.

The latest single is more contemporary yet with a throwback feel. The last double-sider felt more retro 'crossover'  in style.

Maria Sanchez & Soul Tune Allstars [2021] - Dynamite / Sensation [Soul Tune]

Maria Sanchez (aka Groovy MS) is from Riverside, CA and released a new single on a new Swedish (Stockholm) label Soul Tune on 7 May 2021. Soul Tune is run by Niclas Wretelid who is also a member of the Soul Tune Allstars. 

It's a bit odd, as it's not advertised on Soul Tune's website or their BandCamp store but is available via Amazon/Apple digitally. The vinyl 45 is available from Maria's website ($15).

I'm not sure when it was officially released, as Maria Sanchez posted videos of both tracks on her YT channel on 4 Apr 2021, but digital outlets are stating 7 May.

'Dynamite' is a good, bouncy, sax laden, modern soul/crossover tune with an old school vibe with a similar feel to Carmy Love's recent release, I wonder if it will do as well? The flip 'Sensation' is a bit more laid back, and lies more in the funky crossover  camp. Two good sides.
