The Teskey Brothers [2021] - Never Tear Us Apart [Decca]

A blue-eyed, soul ballad from The Teskey Brothers who are a blues/rock band from Melbourne formed in 2008 by Josh & Sam Teskey.  To date they have released two studio albums and a live album. The new single was released 9 Apr 2021.

'Never Tear Us Apart' was a #24 UK pop hit in 1986 for INXS and was on their 1987 album  'Kick'.

The Teskey Brothers version has a real Stax/southern soul flavour sounding like it is right out of Muscle Shoals. It is nothing like the INXS version.

There's another live version recorded New Years Eve 2020.
