Thomas Herman Ridgeley was a New Orleans based artist who began his recording career in 1949. He continued recording right up to 1995 (6 decades!) just 4 years before his passing in 1999 just a few months before his 74th birthday. I 'believe' that this was a Stafford Top Of The World discovery. If anyone knows differently then please drop a line.
There is another version by Gloria Edwards with a slight title variation 'My Love Keeps Getting Stronger' which first appeared on a 1999 compilation Soul Queen Of Texas.
506 Tommy Ridgley [1968] - My Love Is Gets Stronger [International City 7102]
Gloria Edwards [1999] - My Love Keeps Getting Stronger [Edsel EDCD 611]
Tommy Ridgely [1965] - I Want Some Money Baby [Johen 45-9200V]
Tommy Ridgely [1970] - Spreading Love [Ridge-Way R-0005]
A deep and mellow 'lowrider' from 1986.
Deep soul from 60s/70s. The only release on Dewdrop which I guess is a New Orleans label as arranged by Wardell Quezergue and produced by Elijah Walker (who alos worked with King Floyd).
