Eldridge Anthony was from Gary, Indian and released 2 solo 45s on La Cindy in 1969 and another 2 on Star-Vue 1970-71. Prior to this he was with The Passions who released 4 45s on Tower in 1968-69.
La Cindy was owned by Leo Austell and Hillery Johnson (who co-wrote World Column's NS classic 'So Is The Sun'). They also founded Brainstorm, Twin Stacks with Archie Russell. Austell also owned Sta-Set and Renee and was Betty Everett's manager.
La Cindy only released a handful of 45s but what a catalogue for NS connoisseurs 2 by El Anthony, NS classics by Ernest Mosley (Stubborn Heart), Walter & The Admerations (Man Oh Man (What Can I Do)) and also Johnny Ross & The Soul Explosions (Love-I-tis/Chi'-Ca'-Go).

Just Another Reason was a Curtis Mayfield song also recorded by The Fascinations on Mayfield in 1968.
Without A Warning was originally recorded by The Amazers on Thomas in 1967. I have just discovered another slowed down version of 'Without A Warning' from 1969 under a different title Turn On Your Lovelight by Vivian Hill on Nashville's S.B.I. label.
High-Jacked was arranged by Donny Hathaway
