Terry Harris [2022] - The Business [Self Released] (Full Album)

Whilst the new Terry Harris project "The Business" seems to be billed as an album there are only seven tracks of which the first two are sub one minute intros/interludes so only five tracks therefore it's an EP.

Tracks 3-6 are soulful slow jams with the last track "Karma" sampling the backing to The O'Jays "Backstabbers".

Terry Harris [2000/2022] - The Soul Of Gerald Levert By Terry Harris [Self Released]

This is a confusing one as according to Amazon Terry Harris "The Soul Of Gerald Levert By Terry Harris" was released on 26 Oct 2000 and the publishing date on Spotify also states 2000 but also 2022. These two tracks appeared on YouTube on 4 Apr 2022 but again with a release date of 26 Oct 2000 so I'm 'guessing' they may be reissues as they do sound more like they were recorded in 2000 not 2022?

"Baby U Are" is a long time favourite Gerald Levert song taken from his 1999 "G" album and released as a single which peaked at #89 on Billboard Hot 100 in 2000. Terry Harris' version is made to sound like a live cut but I don't think it is actually live? An interesting note is that Terry introduces it as 'one of my favourites songs by the late/great Gerald Levert', who died in 2006, so it can't be a 2000 recording!

The other track "Mr. Too Damn Good" only appeared on the 2000 reissue of the album (i.e it wasn't on the original 1999 version).

Terry (Harris) [2021] - #TheEvoultionOfMe [TJHMusic] (Full Album)

The video for this track was cut in 2017 but the track is featured on his new album #The EvolutionOfMe released today (23 Mar 2021).

Standout tracks on a first skim through include 'Misunderstanding' and 'Me Against You' which are neo deep soul ballads, 'Connection' (another ballad) and 'Suspicious' is a good neo / modern soul dancer ... until the rapping kicks in halfway through at 1:50 for about 20 seconds ... I feel a re-touch/edit coming up!

Terry Harris [2018] - It Never Rains [Izipho Soul #ZP19]

Released a few years ago on Izipho Soul is this neo/modern soul track from Terry Harris.

He hails from Memphis and had a #1 on the US Indie Soul Charts with a track big on the Chicago Stepper's scene 'On The Floor' which must have been digital only as can't find a CD.  It was released on vinyl by Izipho Soul with 'It Never Rans' on flip given the full treatment by New York mix maestro Dale Hitch.
