The opening track of KleoBank's new three track EP "Matin (Morning) EP", ""Please" In French", (which is the one attracting attention) starts off with a smokey
vintage jazz intro which was also used by B-Noize on "Mocca In Paris" (Mar
'23) as it came up when we tried to discover the original sample via
Shazam.
The second song is a much slowed down cover of Sam Sparro's "Black & Gold" from 2008, which, in our opinion, is much better than the pop
original.
From our investigations, KleoBanks is the artist name for Kyra Lafinhan
who graduated from Middlesex University in 2021 with a degree in
acting.
Prior to this three track EP, she's released just two singles "Selfish"
(Feb '23) and a double single titled "Message" ("OKOK" and "Ride") (May
'23).
