A couple of weeks ago a re-recording of two sides by
T.F.O. (The Floaters Orchestra), i.e. Ronnie Nelson, were released by Soul
Intention in UK due on vinyl. Well he's back in action again on a new
Temptations tribute track credited to
The Sounds of Detroit featuring The Prolifics (from Detroit
not the New Orleans outfit), David Banks (Enchantment), Thique &
Leon Franklin (The Dramatics) and Ronnie Nelson
(T.F.O.).
The song is titled "Oh How I Love Those Songs" and, as said above, is a tribute song to The Temptations. It was
written by Michael A. Sanders. It is much better than I expected it to be
as many of these types of things are a bit 'over sentimental'.
I'm not sure who's on lead vocals but he has a strong voice.
