Pip Millett [2024] - Tell Jimmy [Believe UK] (Full EP)

At the end of January Pip Millett released the first single ("Eating Out" feat. Rae Khalil), from a five track EP "Tell Jimmy" which has been released today. 

Another track from it, "Fight You", was released as a single yesterday. As well as Rae Khalil, there is another guest appearance from London's Maverick Sabre (aka Michael Stafford) on "Miss You".

Millett's last recording was guesting on Gotts Street Park's excellent "Got To Be Good" in Jun '23 which, in turn, was her first recording since her debut album "When Everything Is Better, I'll Let You Know" in Oct 2022.

Georgia Pip Willacy was born in Greater Manchester (Stockport) and studied music in London releasing her debut single "Make Me Cry" in 2018. She performed it on Colors Show in 2019 which won her an audience and the song has now been streamed almost 32.5m times on Spotify alone, with the Colors Show performance version approaching 5m.

Gotts Street Park feat. Pip Millett [2023] - Got To Be Good [Blue Flowers Music]

From a forthcoming Gotts Street Park debut album, "On The Inside", due on 13 Oct '23 is the second single "Got To Be Good" feat. Pip Millett.

The band consists of Josh Crocker (bass/producer), Adam Nicolle (drums), Joe Harris (guitar) and Tom Henry (keys). They took their name from Gotts Park in Armley, the area of Leeds they work from, named after an 18th/19th century industrialist Benjamin Gott who founded a textile factory Armley Mills which was at the time the largest factory in the world and is now a museum. Not only music, you get a history lesson for free too!😉

Pip Millett [2022] - When Everything Is Better, I'll Let You Know [Dream Life Records] (Full Album)

Having already drip-fed six tracks from it, the new album from Pip Millett "When Everything Is Better, I'll Let You Know" is finally released today.

In it's 17 tracks it contains an intro and 4 interludes along with the 6 pre-released tracks ("Only Love" (14 Oct), "Walk Away" (23 Sep), "Heal" (9 Sep), "Slow" (27 Jul), "Downright" (5 May) and "Ride With Me" (3 Mar) leaving 6 new songs "All Good", "My Way", "Smoking", "Happy No More", "I Know" and "This Stage". Thankfully there are some good tunes amongst them and she hasn't 'played her hand' with the previous releases but three of them are explicit which may limit radio airplay?

A lot of tracks to digest but I think "Downright" and "My Way" are my initial choice cuts along with the moody "Happy No More" and the jazz tinged "This Stage" is growing on me.

It's available digitally and on CD and vinyl.

Two weeks after the last one, the latest, and sixth, instalment of the drip-fed album from Manchester's Pip Millett forthcoming album "When Everything Is Better, I'll Let You Know" (due next Friday 21 Oct 2022) is "Only Love".

Manchester's Pip Millett has been drip-feeding us with singles from her forthcoming album by "When Everything Is Better, I'll Let You Know", which is due on 21 Oct 2022, starting with "Ride With Me" on 3 Mar.
