LOONY [2024] - LOONY [Self Released] (Full Album)

The sophomore, self-titled, album from LOONY (aka Kira Huszar) who is from Scarborough, Toronto is out today (22 Mar). Her first was "Soft Thing" delivered in Jun '21.

We counted all seven of her singles released since then amongst the twelve tracks with "Show Me Why" being our standout from the five new songs.

Loony [2021] - Soft Thing [Self Released] (Full Album)

Loony (aka Kira Huszar) is from Scarborough, but before you fall off your seat, not North Yorkshire but a suburb of Toronto.

She's released around 15 singles since 2018 and this is her debut album, although she released a 6 track EP "JOYRiDE" in 2020 and a 4 tracker in 2018 "Part I".

Half of the tracks have already been released as singles "Beg", "Be Cool", "Royal Flush" and "Easier". The standout tracks, for me, are "Raw", "Ours" and "Easier", but the whole album is pretty good if you like your soul on the mellow side.

Loony [2021] - Raw [LOONY]

This one's been around about a month now (released 14 Jan 2021) and I kept wondering whether or not to post it, but now it's in this week's UK Soul 'Breaker' chart I took the plunge.  Blue-eyed neo soul bordering R&B.
