Last Friday we posted the latest single, "You", from Les Imprimés which was bundled with all five
previous singles ahead on the full album release of "Rêverie" today.
Les Imprimés is Norwegian artist Morten Martens and effectively, apart from
his debut single "No One To Fight" on Industry Music Group in June 2021, this album contains his full
catalogue of released music as Les Imprimés.
Martens, from Kristiansand, Norway, has been producing and making music
for decades. He received the Norwegian equivalent of a Grammy, a
Spellemann award, in 2006 for producing a Hip Hop album as well as three
other nominations across multiple genres.
He plays nearly every instrument on the recordings and handles the
production and arranging.
The album has a definite retro appeal and pulls from 60s and 70s Soul with
nods to Doo Wop along with hip-hop beats from the 90s.
The album is available digitally, on CD and vinyl.
