Antonio Trinchera [2022] - The Tractor And The Child (Elbert Phillips Done Deal Remix) [A.MA Records]

Chicago House legend, and Frankie Knuckles' warm-up DJ, Elbert Phillips twiddles the knobs on the remix of "The Tractor and the Child" taken from Antonio Trinchera's recent album "Fauves" (22 Sep '22).

Elbert is a producer and remixer who has worked with Josh Milan, Ursula Rucker, Andre Espeut, Shamrock Guitor, Carla Prather, Terrene and Nimbus Sextet for Acid Jazz Records in London and founded his own label 'Entegrity Music' in 2018.

He produces the 'Monthly Statement' show for UK station Soul-Power Radio and was a contributing editor to the specialist House Music publication '5 Magazine'.

I would describe "The Tractor And The Child" as instrumental jazz-house and is released on Friday (2 Dec '22). Trinchera's original version has been included for comparison, which stands up in it's own right.

Fatimah Provillon [2022] - Let You In [Provi Records] + Keep You In The Dark [Nervous Records]

Fatimah Provillon is a native of Newark, NJ but now lives in Rome. Not only did she release this single "Let You In" last week (21 Jan 2022) but also another the previous week (14 Jan 2022) featuring on a jazz/house track by Musta "Keep You In The Dark" on Nervous Records, so I may as well post them both here.

Ron Basejam [2019] - Flight Of The Eisenberg [RBJ]

This is a real left-fielder. It's a rework of a jazz track by Brian Eisenberg Jazz Orchestra called 'Gift With Purchase' on their 2017 album 'Life Changes' by Ron Basejam. It originally came out in Sep 2019 but looks like it's being reissued as it was available on Traxsource as of 5 Mar 2021 (or perhaps it's a first time digital issue?)

I've also included the original below.

Ron Basejam [2019] - Flight Of The Eisenberg [RBJ]

Ron Basejam is an anagram of his real name James Baron.

Brian Eisenberg Jazz Orchestra [2017] - Gift With Purchase [Self Released]

From the 2017 album 'Life Changes'.
