Angel Sessions [2022] - Wait for Me [Self Released]

Angel Sessions is an urban gospel artist from Louisville, KT, now resident in L.A. She was signed to Ichiban records in 1998 and released around four secular albums before switching to gospel and has, to date, released eighteen albums.

Her last single "You Missed a Good Thing" was released 18 Mar 2022 which was a song originally released on her debut album "Introducing... Angel Sessions" in 1998. She released another 'new' single "Wait for Me" yesterday (29 Jul 2020) and like the one earlier in the year is a song from the 90s originally released on her second album "Love Ride" in 1999. A video for the song premieres on YouTube ay 22:00 (BST/UK Time).

Angel has performed with Lenny Williams, The Delfonics, The Stylistics, Brenda Holloway, Freda Payne, Ali Woodson ( The Temptation), The Dells, Mary Wilson (she toured with May Wilson as a Supreme), The Dramatics, L.J. Angel Sessions is an urban gospel artist from Louisville, KT, now resident in L.A. She was signed to Ichiban records in 1998 and released around four secular albums before switching to gospel and has, to date, released eighteen albums.

Her latest single "You Missed a Good Thing" was released last Friday (18 Mar 2022) and sounds like a bit of a 90s throwback to my ears and, 'oh dear', a rap kicks in at around 2:37! I thought it was a bit of an odd single (for 2022) and had a dig around and, right enough, the track was released on her debut album "Introducing... Angel Sessions" in 1998, but as they say, 'I've started so I'll finish' as there's not much else around!

Angel Sessions [2021] - The L-O-V-E [Atlas Elite]

Angel Sessions was signed to Ichiban in 1998 and recorded around four secular albums before turning to gospel music in 2005. To date she has recorded 18 albums.

In 2020 she released a cover version of Janet Jackson's 'Let's Wait A While'.

Her latest single 'The L-O-V-E' was released 26 Feb 2021.
