Amber Mark [2022] - Three Dimensions Deep [EMI] (Full Album)

There's been quite a few albums released today. Amber Mark releases what I would call her debut "Three Dimensions Deep" as her other 'album' from 2017 is a seven tracker of remixes of an earlier EP "3:33am" which doesn't constitute an album in my book.

The album contains her singles from this and last year  "Most Men", "Softly", "Foreign Things", "Competition" and "Worth It" which is no big deal as there are seventeen tracks so still plenty of new material, however, on first listen, none of the new tracks particularly 'float my boat', so it's a bit of a disappointment.

Amber Mark [2022] - Most Men [EMI]

Amber Mark released her latest single "Most Men" yesterday (6 Jan 2022) which is a preview of what's to come on her debut full length album "Three Dimensions Deep" which is due on 28 Jan 2022.

I think this is definitely one of her best, certainly since "Competition" in Jun last year.

Amber Mark [2021] - Foreign Things [EMI]

It looks like Amber Mark is gradually building up for an album or EP, as her last three singles are now bundled together. The latest addition is "Foreign Things" released yesterday (23 Aug 2021). It joins "Worth It" (Apr) and "Competition" (Jun). 

"Worth It" did quite well but "Competition", surprisingly,  didn't register, which I actually preferred of the two. I don't think "Foreign Things" is a strong as either of the two previous tracks but what do I know, it may be a grower?

Amber Mark [2021] - Competition (Single Edit) [EMI]

A new single from Amber Mark was released 9 Jun 2021 following up "Worth It" released in April with a Jarreau Vandal Remix applied in May, both of which did reasonably well on the Global Soul chart.

Amber was born in Tennessee to a Jamaican father and German mother. They moved to India and then Germany when she was growing up. She is now based in New York and made her recording debut in 2016 with three singles from her debut album 3:33AM released in 2017.

She will be appearing at Lafayette, London on 24 Aug 2021 (assuming Covid restrictions are relaxed by then).
