A debut five track EP "Finally Vol. 1" from Amoré The Songstress who is  singer/songwriter Alydda Hill from L.A..

Her only other release available (on Spotify) is a single "Whisper" from 2020 although she also released the last track on the EP, "Summertyme (Don't Stop)", as a single in Nov '22.

The standout tracks for us is "Abandonded".

Tata Vega [1977] - Come In Heaven (Earth Is Calling) (Edit) [Tamla #T6-353S1]

Originally a 9:02 album track on Tata Vega's sophomore album "Totally Tata" 1977, "Come In Heaven (Earth Is Calling)" was always really two tracks rolled into one. The first half a deep soul ballad and the second half takes it into Disco territory. When David Nathan's Soul Music Records reissued the album on CD in 2011 they had the foresight to break it into two bonus tracks. So here's the first half.

We'll also add the full length album track as a couple of minutes have been lost between the two edits.

Carmen Rosa 'Tata' Vega released four solo albums for Motown's Tamla imprint between 1977-80 and then had a break and came back a gospel artist but also performed backing vocals fro many artist.

In the late 60s she performed in a Broadway production of 'Hair' in L.A. and then joined a group called Pollution of which Dobie Gray was a member. Whilst performing they were spotted by Berry Gordy who signed them and released an album on them as Earthquire on Natural Resources in 1972. The album failed commercially and the group were dropped but Tata retained.

Terrell Moses [2023] - Let Me Show You Love [Capetown Records]

A song written by Jackson's (MS), Andrew Lee Caples (aka Andre Lee) and released on his Capetown label. Lee's music has featured here a few times over the years but "Let Me Show You Love" appears to be a debut release from Terrell Moses. 

There is another artist with the same name whose music is hip-hop so not the same artists.

Lindsey Webster [2023] - Stay With Me [Shanachie] NEW VIDEO

Uploaded to her YouTube channel just 12 hours ago, Lindsey Webster has posted a new video for "Stay With Me". The song was released back in Aug last year as the lead single from her, then forthcoming, album "Reasons" which was released a few weeks later (9 Sep '22). The video version is an edit, 3:30 versus the 4:24 'Soul Jazz Mix' single and 5:43 album versions,.

The song features Randy Brecker of The Brecker Brothers on flugel horn along with, according to the video, rapper Kev choice but I didn't detect any rap in the song?.

Ebony Riley [2023] - ebony [Interscope Records] (Full Album)

The debut album from Ebony Riley, "ebony", is one we've been sitting on for a few days as to these ears it's basically a one-track album but that track "Open" is rather good. The remaining tracks are all R&B flava'd and, apart from one, are all explicit. However, there appears to be a clean edition available.

The intro to the second track, "Draws", samples Evelyn King's "Love Come Down" and the ballad "Cry" has grown on me after a few plays.

Ebony Riley is from Detroit and has been a model for nine years featuring Vogue, Paris, and Harperss Bazar. She has been creating music for the last four under the moniker Riley Montana.

JU-LIA [2022] - Deja Vu [INI Movement]

JU-LIA (Julia van Ee) is from Amsterdam and made her debut in 2019 with the single "No Time". She released another single in 2020 "Addiction" and returns with her third single "Deja Vu" on 11 Feb 2022. 

I sampled this on Friday but with so much around skipped it but returned to it today and my word, how did I not post it on Friday (perhaps the short sample of it didn't do it justice) as this is very good?
