Londoner Yvonne Nneka Simidele Ile graduated with a First Class
(Hons) and Masters (Dist.) from the London College of Music. Whilst a
doctoral student at Jesus College (DPhil Music), Oxford, she won the 2023 Kendrew Songwriting Competition for her last single "Don't Hide" included as the last track on her new EP "Sunflower Baby" under her alias Jael.
It's a very good and solid EP with all tracks sounding good to us but
we'd highlight "Love Me More", the title track "Sunflower Baby" and "Sunday Evening" in particular.
