Alternative soul collective Hiatus Kaiyote, from Melbourne, release the second single, "Make Friends", from their upcoming album "Love Heart Cheat Code" due on 28 Jun.
It follows their third album "Mood Valiant" in Aug '21 which was later released as a remix album in Apr
'22.
The first single was "Everything's Beautiful" in Jan. which is included in the bundle that also contains the full
length version and a radio edit of "Make Friends". Whilst an official full music video for the song has not been
published yet, they have produced a wacky, mock 80s style, TV
commercial featuring it.
The group, consisting of Nai Palm (vocals/guitar), Paul Bender
(bass), Simon Mavin (keys) and Perrin Moss (drums),
debuted with an album "Tawk Tomahawk" in 2012 for which they were nominated for Best R&B
Performance at the 2013 Grammys (the first Australian group be
nominated) for "Nakamarra" from it.
