Adam Hawley [2024] - Unstoppable [MBF Entertainment] (Full Album)

If you're a fan of George Benson, who is coincidentally celebrating his 81st birthday today, then the new album from jazz guitarist Adam Hawley, "Unstoppable", should be right up your street.

The album contains eight instrumental tracks and two vocals. One of the vocals may be familiar as it's a jazz version of The Gap Band's "Yearning For Your Love" featuring L. Young. The other is "Best Part" featuring his wife Kat Hawley who's second solo single "Never Too Busy" in Jan was very well received. One of the eight instrumentals, "Absolute Love",  features smooth jazz saxophonist Judah Sealy.

It's the Portland, OR, native Hawleys' sixth album since his first in 2016 for Maurice White's Kalimba. After receiving a Doctorate of Musical Arts, Hawley moved to L.A. To date he has achieved 14 Billboard #1 hits on the smooth jazz chart.

He has performed with many named artists including Jennifer Lopez, Dave Koz, Kirk Whalum, Brian Culbertson, Gerald Albright, Natalie Cole, Lalah Hathaway, The Manhattan Transfer and many others have featured on his albums such as Jeff Lorber, Rick Braun, Najee, Euge Groove and Tracy Carter to name but a few.

UPDATE: We've been asked who originally sang "Best Part" and had completely forgotten that it was Canadian singer Daniel Caesar feat. H.E.R. in 2017 who received a Grammy for Best R&B Performance for it in 2019 (live video below).
