Released yesterday is the new single, "We Need This", from Juanita Wynn who we last heard from featuring on
Joe Leavy's "Soul On Fire" album, and more specifically on the last single "Give It Right".
Her last solo single was "The One" a year ago in Sep '22 which followed the excellent "Make It Right" (Jul '22). We were told that the second song was part of a
quadrilogy, 'Blood, Sweat & Tears', so we should be treated to the
final piece in due course.
A quick recap on Ms Wynn: She is a Grammy award winning song writer who began writing for Quincy Jones
Music Publishing. She went on to sign for Sony ATV writing for Diana Ross,
Angie Stone. Shirley Murdock, Norman Brown, Destiny's Child and more
recently Lalah Hathaway amongst many others. She received her Grammy for
Lalah's "Lalah Live!" in 2015.
