From their sound you would be forgiven for thinking that Melbourne's
Teskey Brothers (Josh vocals/rhythm guitar) and Sam (lead guitar)) were
from the southern US states with their blue/country/soul sound.
They have featured here several times over the last couple of years and,
today, released their third studio album "The Winding Way". We've already had a taste of a few tracks i.e. "Oceans Of Emotions", "This Will Be Our Year", "Take My Heart" and "London Bridge" which have all been singles.
In addition to, their now, three studio albums, they have recorded two
live albums, the first of which, "Live at The Forum", entered at #1 on the
Australian album chart and won Best Blues & Roots album at the 2020
ARIA awards.
The group, consisting of other members not just Josh and Sam, were formed
in 2008 but only began to gain recognition from 2017.
Dismiss this at your peril thinking it's blue-eyed, as we think Josh Teskey
has one of the most soulful voices we've heard ... from a 'honky'!😉
