After touring the world with different artists over the last ten years and
lending his voice to artists such as Nas and Lil Wayne and others,
Brooklyn's (NYC) Haile Supreme embarked on a solo career
in 2019. He released three single before his debut EP "Ear Tones".
He states that his music is a "blending of mystical blues, intergalactic
jazz and the rub-a-dub spirit of roots reggae".
His latest single "TNT" (released today 12 May '23) is a collaboration with hip-hop
DJ/producer Statik Selektah (aka Patrick Baril from
Lawrence, MA).
Unbeknown to us, Roger Soulsorts Williams has informed us the song samples
a track "Together" by New York City Band which was featured (on a
2007 French CD reissue only) of their 1979 self-titled album that we have
included below for interest. Luther Vandross featured on backing vocals
on the album.
