Kim Petite (aka Kimberly Borges Semedo) is a 26 year old Cape Verdean who grew up in Rotterdam. After years of
only doing live performances on stage, she is ready to release her own music
and is currently putting together her debut EP from which the first single
"DEAL" was released on 14 Apr.
It appears to be sung in a mix of English and presumably Dutch as it
doesn't sound Portuguese (the native language of Cape Verde)?
Whilst digging around found a live video of a cover of "Tennessee Whiskey" (which has elements of Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind" in it) and it highlights her vocal skills.
