The latest offering from London's Cherise Adams-Burnett is a single "Secrets" released on Wednesday (1 Mar '23) which also has a supporting video.
We first came across, and raved about, Chrise with the release of "Remedy" in Jul/Aug 2021 which was only her second release and followed a four track EP "Paradise" in 2020. She released a second (four track) EP in Oct '22 which included "Remedy" and her follow up single "Rise". Her only other release was until the latest single was featuring on "Blue Note Re:Imagined" compilation with "Sunrise" which is a cover of Norah Jones's song from "Feels Like Home" (2004).
She also appeared as a featured artist on Nubiyan Twist's "Freedom Fables" album in 2021 on a track titled "Tittle Tattle" (which jazz/funkers may appreciate).
Cherise graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and has been invited to perform at many of the UK’s most prestigious venues and festivals ranging from The BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall to Love Supreme Jazz Festival.
