With three weeks to go before the full album is released on 24 Mar
'23, Billy Valentine drips another track as a single,
the fifth of eight so far.
As with all the album's tracks, it's another cover/interpretation,
this time of Eddie Kendricks' "My People… Hold On" from his 1972 Tamla album "People… Hold On".
On this track he is joined by Jeff Parker, Pino Palladino & Larry Goldings. Curiously it has not
been made available on Bancamp with the other tracks, as yet, but is
available on other DSPs.
Valentine has two dates lined up at
The Forge in London
on 7th & 8th April '23.
