Due out tomorrow is a landmark 400th release from Quantize Recordings.
It's a housed up mix of Brenda Russell's "Get Here" (1988) by Dawn Tallman (The Queen Of Gospel Energy) produced by DJ Spen, Gary Hudgins & David Harness.
The song was a bigger hit of course for Oleta Adams in 1990 (a #4 UK pop
chart hit in Jan 1991 (#5 US Hot 100).
Dawn Tallman is from Danbury, CT and began singing in the church before
branching out into R&B and dance music. Her voice has blessed numerous singles as the featured artist and she is on
the must call list for many producers when they are looking for someone to
arrange and sing backgrounds. She has scored Billboard chart success with Bob Sinclar on "Feel The Vibe"
in 2015 and on her own rendition of the 80's Womack & Womack track "Teardrops" and has
scores of singles dating back to 1994.
