DAVEON #1 is Daveon Overton from south side Chicago who moved to L.A. in the early 80s to join Motown who were putting a group together but ended up becoming a writer with Jobete Music. He released an album "It's So Good" on Empie in 1987 and was a member of Mind, Heart & Soul who released a self-titled album on Motown in 1995.
He has been very prolific since 2021 releasing over thirty singles and three albums. The latest album in "I'M SO FORTUNATE" released 13 Sep 2022.
All songs are self-written and a few of the highlights are "DO U THINK OF ME", "I CRAVE U", "JUST GIMME YOUR LOVE" and "IN TRANSIT".
