A couple of weeks ago (15 Jul) a new single from 80s veteran Joyce Sims was posted from promo. It's yet another cover of Bobby
Caldwell's "What You Won't Do For Love" (which makes it the third or fourth in the last year from
recollection) It was due for release on 22 Jul 2022 from a forthcoming album "Change" which I omitted to re-post when it was released and have been reminded as it is now featuring in Amazon UK chart. Sims' version takes
the pace up a notch or two from Caldwell's 1978 original.
She had several big club hits in the 80s ("(You Are My) All And All" (1985) and "Lifetime Love" and "Come Into My Life" (both1987), and released two albums in the 80s and has recorded a further four
between 2006 and 2014, although two are compilations of previous
hits.
