Here's another that will raise the hackles of the Kool one (DJ Kool
Keith) which 'uses' Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway's 80s
UK soul weekender anthem "Back Together Again" written by James Mtume and Reggie Lucas without any credits being
given.
It's by Azuro and he's titled it "So Easy" which he's notched up 12% from the original 111 BPM to 125 BPM.
From what I can ascertain, Azuro is DJ/producer Oscar Schraenkler who was
born in London to Norwegian/German parents and learned his DJ skills whilst
attending Warwick University, now living and Djing in NYC (Brooklyn). He
released his debut single "Prospect" in Nov 2019.
It's due on Amazon on 12 Aug but according to Spotify was released on 29
Jul 2022, go figure?

My hackles are well and truly raised! A classic not only sped up unnecessarily, but as is par for the course no credit given for the stolen original vocals either
As per comment re Ghostbusterz use of Loose Ends (https://soulstrutter.blogspot.com/2022/08/ghostbusterz-2022-hangin-on-string.html), the singers would not normally be credited unless they were also writers. In this case both writers, Reggie Lucas and James Mtume (earlier this year), are both now deceased but 'someone' still owns the copyright and royalties ought to be paid ... but let's be honest how many of these will be sold/streamed?
