Formed by Elina Rabarijaona (Elina Jones) and Thibault Le Guerinel from
Lyon (France) in 2018 as
Elena Jones & The Fireflies they changed their name in
May 2022 to Menava (which is a translation of fireflies in
Malagasy).
They released a debut EP "Where We Go" in Feb 2020 having already released the title track as a single in Jan 2020.
Therefore, technically this is a reissue, albeit under a different name
and it looks like a different mix / edit as it is 3:08 vs the original
4:04.
It makes me laugh when this was programmed by Franklin Sinclair in his New Music Hour last week and other DJs have now latched onto it as a 'new release'! You need to do your homework guys rather than blindly copying from others!
