D-Smooth, according to the Spotify profile, is a singer/songwriter/rapper from
Chicago. He released a new single "Carefully" today (3 Jun 2022). It's a traditional, smooth soul tune which is not typical
of the other material assigned to his Spotify profile. Whether they are
the same artist or not I don't know as I can find no information about him
but several of the other songs are written by Darrin Johnson from Chicago.
I personally don't think they are the same artist.
