It's been almost a year since we last heard from Beth Macari with "Love You More" last July which followed her dance floor hit "Gotta Get Back" and its Remixes, both UK Soul Chart top 10 songs. She decided to take a break
from music after the bereavement of her grandmother who she was very
close to.
Beth, from Newcastle, was a member of Nick Pride & The Pimptones before going solo around 2018 and released her debut album "I Am Everything" in 2020', the lead singe from which, "I Promise (That I Got You)", was a US Soul Chart top 20 hit.
Discounting remixes, her new single, "Circles", (due 1 Jul 2022) will be around her eleventh single since 2018.
She tells us that "Circles is a song about the pressures of being a woman, in all
aspects of life! The worries of getting older, the struggles of
working in the music industry, all of the doubts that we all have
about the decisions we make day to day".
