I don't quite know why, but "Love Me" by Trey Merritt, (released today) reminds me of Level 42, maybe it's the bassline? So with that teed up 'nicely' with some perhaps running for cover, it's very commercial and I strongly suspect this one might fly!
Trey Merritt is a new artist from Phenix City, AL, who emerged in 2020. He has a full album under his belt already and this will be his fourth single.
