Salaam Remi
is the producer behind Amy Winehouse. His latest project is remixing
four tracks by the late great
Marvin Gaye titled "Save The World Remix Suite"
which includes "SaveThe Children" (from "What's Going On", "Sad Tomorrows" (flip of "Mercy Mercy Me" 45) , "I Want To Come Home For Christmas" and "No Need" which is a previously unreleased instrumental recorded at same session as "Sad Tomorrow".
Salaam Remi remixed three tracks from Gaye's 'lost album' "You're The Man"
album that was supposed to have been the follow up to "What's Going On" that
was released posthumously in 2019.
The remix of "Save The Children" lifts it from a ballad into a nice little stepper.
