D (Danny) Mills is an L.A. producer who is the great great grandson of the jazz/blues legend Bessie Smith who died in 1937. He doesn't appear to release singles but has released around five albums since 2007 and his first EP "Grateful" was released last week (12 Nov 2021).
Three of the four tracks are smooth jazz instrumentals with the standout being the only vocal "Moment".
His last album "Prism" released on July did well on UK soul charts with "Leave The Light On" featuring Amber Navra and "Be Mine (Sunshine)" featuring Chantae Cann being the tracks that got most attention.
