I got a notification about this new release from Moses Patrou a few weeks ago via email but
thought that it was vinyl only on a new Swedish label Soul Tunes, so I was
surprised to see it on Spotify.
As it's a vinyl release there are two, both retro, sides "You Get What'cha Paid For" has a crossover feel and "Who's Gonna Save Me (From Myself)" is a bluesy, mid-tempo ballad.
Moses Patrou is originally from Nashville, TN and now lives in Staten
Island, NYC and leads a group called Bk'lyn Dive Bombers. He was formerly a member of Youngblood Brass Band founded in 1998.
