Staying with the contemporary gospel soul tip. The new single from
Gina Sedman (previously Carey) "Prodigal" (released 31 Aug 2021) is a real grower. When I first heard it when
released I wasn't too sure about it (perhaps because I'm a Scottish born
'heathen'!) but it seems to be gaining traction and after a few listens
I've warmed to it (so perhaps not a complete heathen after all ...
redemption is on it's way!).
Gina Carey recently married DJ Andrew Sedman (who actually lives not far
from me and Leigh 'The Flava" Taylor in this hotbed of home counties
soul!), hence the name change. Nepotism I hear you cry, well not really as I was
upfront about my initial reservations and reticence to post!
Gina's last single "Fallen" was posted in April.
