fika are Al Wreaves and Sam Hutton from London who met whilst
studying music at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford. They have just signed with Brighton label Tru Thoughts and their first release with them on 26 Aug 2021 is "How Can I Love? (When I Can't Get Away From You)" featuring Bambie.
It has a bit of a summery retro feel, whist still retaining a neo soul contemporary vibe.
fika last featured here with a single in April "Don't Say That I Don't" which also appeared in that week's "The Dirty Dozen".
