Yes it actually IS "The Lord's Prayer" but not like you've ever heard it
before. Pastor T. L. Barrett takes it to church with an absolutely
phenomenal gospel/soul rendition.
This is from a 49 track compilation covering five albums recorded by
Jesse Jackson's civil rights running mate from the 70s. The album is not
due until 24 Sep 2021 but is available to pre-order on BandCamp or direct from Numero Group.
The title track of one of those albums 'Like A Ship" was covered recently by
Leon Bridges & Keite Young
in March.
