Elijah Blake (aka Sean Fenton) is a Dominican/American singer/songwriter who has written for Usher, Rihanna and Keyshia Cole amongst many others. He was signed by Atlantic aged 16 in 2009 and began work on Trey Songz album "Ready". His first "mixtape" in 2011 included a song co-written with, and featuring, Common. His first official release was an EP called "Drift" in 2014. Since then he has released two full albums and is currently working on his third for release later this year.
He has collaborated with Trinidad James (who recently appeared on Lion Babe's latest single "Get Up") for a new single "Dreams" released on Friday (23 Jul 2021). It's a bit of an R&B flavoured tune with rap from Trinidad James. I was trying to think who he sounds like on this track and I think it reminds me of Maxwell in places (on "Reunion").
