Christos Tambouratzis is a jazz/ funk / rock guitarist from
Athens, Greece. He's just released a six track EP "Moment In Time" on 15 Jul
2021.
The key tracks are "I Can't Now That", a beautiful, melancholy soul/jazz ballad/stepper, and the title track
"Moment In Time".
He appears to have emerged in 2015 and has released several singles/EPs
and four full length albums. As I've mention on here before, the line is
blurred between what constitutes a full album versus an EP! Some DSP's
list EPs as albums. For me anything six tracks or less is an EP, yet some
eight trackers are listed as EP and four or five trackers as albums ... so
who knows!
I have to confess, I've not really listened to any of his music before, but
came across a track called "Aura", released in 2016 on "Symmetry For Mind" which won awards, which is a
cool jazz/rock tune featuring Christina Jackson on vocals that should
appeal to jazz-heads. who will probably know it anyway, but I've included
a video for it below.
