Why don't you publish the Global Soul Chart and the Breakers ? The UK Soul Chart is totally ridiculous and drags the name UK Soul into the dirt . It should be called the UK POP/Gary Van Deb Busch/Steve Ripley promotional chart . Its a laughing stock

I've had this comment before. This blog isn't 'driven' by any chart. I've checked this week's Global chart and half of them have also appeared on the Starpoint UK chart. ALL the others have already been featured on this blog except for J.A.M. which I chose not to post on first flick through.
I agree that there are often some 'dubious' entries that shouldn't appear in any 'Soul' chart.
I may just drop the chart altogether as any chart is'contrived', I only use it as a reference to see if there is anything I've missed that's slipped through the net (which is rare).
