A continuation of Shrine - The World's Rarest Soul Label. As promised here are all the unreleased Shrine tracks that have been released on various compilations. I have found another 30 track compilation released on Goldmine Soul Supply in 2003 The Northern Soul Of Shrine GSCD162, but it doesn't appear to contain any tracks not already released on Horace's or Kent. If you now of any others please leave a comment.
Whilst most of the Shrine stock was destroyed in a fire, Eddie Singleton retained the master tapes, although not all must have survived as several of these tracks on the compilations have been dubbed from vinyl.
Tippie & The Wise Me [1966] - Wait Till I Get There / Let Me Walk Away
Wait Till I Get There was originally released on Shrine - The Rarest Soul Label on Horace's HR101 in 1990.
Let Me Walk Away was released on Capital Soul - The Sound Of DC 1965/66 in 1991 Horaces HR 102.

Originally formed in 1958 as The Tropicals (Jacqui Burton, Vicky Burton, Jeanette Talley and Roberta Miller). They recorded a 45 for the legendary Okeh label in 1962 renamed as The Blossoms - I'm In Love / What Makes Love Okeh 7162 but record failed to make an impact and they were released from contract. They joined Shrine as a trio as Roberta Miller left the group due to ill health. They again changed their name to D.C. Blossoms to avoid conflict with Darlene Love's group of the same name (The Blossoms).
