Her last two releases were a two and a three track EP, so we thought that perhaps her sophomore album was on it's way, as that's seven new songs released so far this year.

Zenesoul [2023] - Pain, no Percocet [Self Released]

Toronto's Zenesoul turns out yet another quality neo soul tune "Pain, no Percocet" on the heels of "Let Me Go" in March and "Love Island" in Jan. Her five track EP "Nene" last Sep. contained one of the tracks of the year with "I Don't Mind". She is becoming one of the most consistent of the neo soul artists for regularly producing good music.

I don't suspect for a second that this will get the airplay that it deserves as sadly radio jocks just don't seem to like playing ballads, but this is contemporary SOUL music not the MOBO dance tunes which seem to be favoured!

Since we posted "Let Me Go" a music video for it has been uploaded to her YouTube channel, so is included below in the absence of a video for the latest single.

The second single from Zenesoul since her five track EP "Nene" from last Oct which contained the killer track "I Don't Mind". Her last single, "Best Friend", came out as at the start if Dec but didn't fare too well. The new single "Love Island" is out today and is much better.
