The Ton3s Feat. Mr. TalkBox [2022] - Thank You [Ghetto Allstars]

The first release by the trio formerly known as The Hamiltones since their debut album as The Tons3s  "We Are The Ton3s" is "Thank You" featuring Mr. Talkbox released on Friday (28 Oct).

The song was recorded in 2018 for Snoop Dogg's album "Bible Of Love" but didn't make the final cut. The featured artist, Mr. Talkbox, will give you a clue as to how this one is going to sound i.e. a retro late 70s/early 80s feel with vocoder! It's effective though, and I don't normally appreciate the electronic effects, a dancefloor winner!

The Ton3s [2022] - Got So Much Love [Ghetto Allstars] VIDEO

The Ton3s (previously known as The Hamiltones who backed Anthony Hamilton) released their debut album "We Are The Ton3s" under the name at the end of May and prior to that, on 13 May, a single from it "Got So Much Love". Last Wednesday (3 Aug) they released a video for the song.

The Ton3s [2022] - We Are The Ton3s [Ghetto Allstars] (Full Album)

Released on 31 May 202 is a new album by The Ton3s "We Are The Ton3s". You may know them better as The Hamiltones (James Tillman (aka J. Vito), Corey Williams II (aka 2E) and Antonio Bowers (aka Tony Lelo)), who were Anthony Hamilton's backing singers and rebranded themselves earlier this year and this is their debut album as The Ton3s .

I delayed posting it as it doesn't appear to have been uploaded to Spotify or YouTube or any of the other of the main streaming platforms that enable embedding of full tracks but I've managed to find it on another platform AudioMack that enables embedding.

The lead single from the album was "Better" released on 22 Feb followed by "Got So Much Love" on 3 Mar. The album features guest appearances from Tarriona 'Tank' Ball (Tank & The Bangas), Snoop Dogg, Vanessa Ferguson, Gavin Maestro, Tigo B,  PJ Morton and Sir The Baptist.

It's a pretty solid album with two particular standouts for me being the single "Got So Much Love" and "Sexual".
