Stan Taylor [2022] - Roses [Self Released]

Stan Taylor (aka Stanley Albert Carrizosa) released an album "Red Velvet" on New Years Eve which was a bit of a sleeper but did eventually enter the UK Soul Chart only dropping out last week. He has a new single "Roses" out yesterday (3 Mar 2022) not included on the album which looks like it's from a forthcoming EP (watch video below).

Stan Taylor [2021] - Red Velvet [Self Released] (Full Album)

At the beginning of Dec. Stan Taylor released the last single from his new album "Red Velvet" which was "Walk With Me" featuring Raquel Rodriguez. The full album was released on 31 Dec 2021.

It's quite a mix of styles from retro sweet soul through to EDM on some tracks so I haven't settled on any standouts as yet but it contains several good tracks such as "I Love You", "Red Velvet", "Walk With Me", "She Ain't You".

Stan Taylor & Raquel Rodriguez [2021] - Walk With Me [Self Released]

After a hectic start to the year with multiple singles which eventually got 'folded' into a full album "Sweet Side" in April, Raquel Rodriguez has been quiet for a few months, but is back today (9 Dec 2021) on a duet "Walk With Me" with Stan Taylor who she released an EP of sweet soul covers titled "Sunday's Best" with in 2019.

I've also included a single from August 2020 "Brand New" as it popped up on the player and sounded pretty good, so why not?

Stan Taylor and Brother Stone & the Get Down Feat. Luke Strand [2021] - I Like It [Self Released]

I'm having to dig deep today as the new releases are beginning to dry up, so here's a tune released on 18 Mar 2021. I first came across Stan Taylor when he released a five track EP ("Sunday's Best") consisting of sweet soul covers with Raquel Rodriguez in 2019.

He's an independent artist from L.A. who has been releasing material since 2017. On his YT channel he regularly posts videos of covers of sweet soul classics.

I recently came across the Sunday's Best EP by Raquel Rodriguez & Stan Taylor which sent me on a journey to explore some of their other material. Raquel has been recording for several years and I enjoyed what I heard so decided to put together some of her earlier material for others to listen to and hopefully turn them on to her sound.
