On Monday (25 Mar) the first of two unreleased songs ("Don't Wanna Lose You") from Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings was released digitally. Today the second, "Don't Give a Friend a Number", is available.

Both songs were recording during the sessions for "Soul of a Woman" (2017), and written by Daptone co-founder Neal Sugarman.

The songs are also paired on 7" vinyl via Daptone Records for a very good price of only £6 (plus postage which is from US).

The first song, "Don't Wanna Lose You", is released today with "Don't Give a Friend a Number" presumably arriving on Friday.

It's also available on 7" vinyl via Daptone Records for a very good price of only £6 (plus postage which is from US).

Sharon Jones died aged 60 as a result of a stroke (whilst recovering from cancer) in Nov 2016 whilst watching the results of the US presidential election. She survived 10 days and attributed her stroke to the shock of Donald Tump being elected.

Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings [2021] - The Daptone Super Soul Revue Live at the Apollo [Daptone]

This appears to be a 'cut down' version of a live album from Daptone which features only the ten tracks by Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings. There is an extended 32 track version which is also available on CD and vinyl.

"The Daptone Super Soul Revue Live at the Apollo" captures live performances on several Daptone acts at the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NYC over three nights between 4-6 Dec 2014.
