Hot off the press, on Thursday but it was only available on YouTube as it hadn't been uploaded to Spotify but now it is.

All we know about Tommy Richman, assuming that it's the same artist (which we are not entirely convinced he is having listened to other releases), is that he's from Virginia and has been releasing music since 2016. His latest single, "30 TILL MIDNIGHT", was released today.

Eva Lazarus [2022] - Brandy Kisses [Melonskin Records] (Full Album)

The genre-bending, sophomore, album by Birmingham based, Bristol bred, artist Eva Lazurus, "Brandy Kisses", is released today (8 Aug 2022).

She had some recent success with "Royalty" released in June 2022. On her latest offering there is neo soul, jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop and hints of dub/reggae as well as pure pop so it's an eclectic mixed bag. 

The album includes all three of her singles released this year i.e. "Lessons" (27 Jul), "Royalty" (16 Jun) and "How Am I Looking?" (18 Feb) and it's certainly value for money as £7.99 buys you sixteen tracks.

On the first listen "Lioness" and "Lessons" (until the rap kicks in) are the ones that stands out for me  with "If You Ever Leave Your Girl" and "Secrets" pricking the ears. With sixteen tracks to digest I'm sure others will emerge with more listens

It's a fresh and adventurous set, albeit I think it may have been better as two eight track albums as there is a lot of disparate music to digest in one sitting. Perhaps the the old adage 'quality over quantity' applies?
