Michael Jackson Heavenly Birthday Tribute

Michael Jackson would have been celebrating his 64th birthday today. I think many soul purists disregard his music so I've hand picked a baker's dozen of his early solo recordings between 1972-75. Most are B sides and album cuts from his first four solo albums (pre "Off The Wall" / "Thriller" and beyond) with one or two hits. I think even some purists might be surprised as you rarely hear many of these getting played!

Lord Finesse presents Motown State Of Mind [2020]

Legendary rapper, hip-hop producer, and founding member of the influential collective Diggin’ In The Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.), Lord Finesse is back with his most ambitious project to date: Motown State of Mind, a set of handpicked Motown classics remixed and reimagined. In true DJ style, the remixes will be released as a 45 RPM box set on July 24 (2020) containing seven 7-inch records on black vinyl featuring the remixed version on Side A and the classic original on Side B.
