Luman Child Feat. Robert Gee [2023] - Grateful (North Street West Vocal Remix) [Tru Thoughts]

Luman Child is Swiss-based musician, composer & producer, Pascal Strauss. If you cast your mind back to summer last year, he released a four tracker titled "Love Is The Message" as his debut release for Brighton-based Tru Thoughts labeel. It contained two mixes of "Grateful" along with two mixes of "Loving You". 

He's back with gospel-house remix of "Grateful" by Ashley Beedle's North Street West collective which also includes Darren Morris, Jo Wallace. Bundled in is an instrumental version and the two versions released last year. Vocals are once again provided by Philly's Robert Gee.

MAQman, Luman Child, Ebu & Joseph Junior [2022] - Higher [Makin' Moves Records]

Swiss-based musician, composer & producer, Luman Child (Pascal Strauss) impressed us with his last release in Jun 2022, a four track EP "Love Is The Message" which was his debut release for the burgeoning Brighton (UK) based Tru Thoughts label.

Prior to the EP, in Feb 2022, he released "Higher" along with MAQman (Minh Anh Quach), Ebu (Ebu Yeniyol) and Joseph Junior (Joseph Okitikpi). It has now been reissued on Bandcamp available from 14 Aug 2022. It comes with two mixes, MAQman Classic Mix and DJ-Friendly Stripped Edit.

Luman Child [2022] - Love Is The Message [Tru Thoughts] (Full EP)

Luman Child is Swiss-based musician, composer & producer, Pascal Strauss, whose latest release (28 Jun 2022) is a four track EP "Love Is The Message" which is his debut for the burgeoning Brighton (UK) based Tru Thoughts label.

The lead track is a gospel-house tune "Grateful" which he describes as an uplifting summer soul/boogie groover which features the vocals of Philly singer/songwriter Robert Gee. There is also an instrumental version which he's titled the Orchestral Mix.

Likewise "Loving You" has vocal and instrumental mixes and is a slower neo-soul track that features London-based Nigerian singer Joseph Junior. He claims that it is influenced by The Isley Brother's "Footsteps in the Dark", recently covered of course by Jarrod Lawson on Dome.

Both Robert Gee and Joseph Junior are long time collaborators, featuring on Luman Child's debut 2017 solo album "Time To Grow" on Cool Million's Sedsoul label.
