Last Friday Carlos Abril Herrero released "Dancing In My Room" which we didn't get around to posting but have been prompted to post
it today as his latest single "Can't Hide It" has been released paired with it.
The smooth jazzy vocals on "Dancing In My Room" are provided by 23 years old ZALENA (Kaja Malena Håvik) from Bergen,
Norway
Carlos is originally from Valladolid, Spain, but after studying at
Maastricht University, NL, now lives in Maastricht. After releasing
half a dozen singles since 2021, he released a debut EP, "Flow" in Jan
'23. We featured his previous single "Let Me Know" with Amelia Rose and 9ick in Mar '23. It seems to have gone under the radar, and needs revisiting as it's
rather good! Perhaps one or two of the 'first play / one play merchants'
have played it but tunes need more than one play for them to gain
exposure. It's so that if others then play it, and make it popular, they can claim 'I played it first'. What a lot of utter nonsense that is, as it the DJs who play music consistently that break them not the ones who played it first!
