BeMyFiasco [2024] - Don't Wanna Be Your Lover [The Foreign Exchange Music]

Since her 2021 debut album, "Where I Left You", we've only heard from BeMyFiasco once featuring on Misha's "Your Body" in Feb.

She now has a new solo single "Don't Wanna Be Your Lover" co-written with Zo! (Lorenzo Ferguson) and Tall Black Guy (Terrel Wallace) and released on their The Foreign Exchange Music label.

BeMyFiasco is the musical alias for Bianca Rodriguez originally from Dallas. She released a debut nine track EP, "Solitude" under her birth name in 2013 via Soundcloud which she followed in 2016 with her first commercially available EP, the self-released "Layers".

One of the set's tracks, "Monday Morning Blues", grabbed the attention of Phonte from the Foreign Exchange and they developed a creative partnership. Since then Bianca has contributed to various projects including TallBlackGuys "Abstractions" and Sy Smith's "Until We Meet Again" which is shaping up to be our favourite album of 2024 so far.

Misha feat. BeMyFiasco & Evil Needle [2024] - Your Body [Self Released]

Helsinki based producer Misha (Mika Kurvinen) has pre-released another track from a new album "Radiant" due on 5 Apr.

"Radiant" follows "Nocturnal" from Nov '22 and "Your Love" feat. BeMyFiasco & Evil Needle, released today, is now the fifth single already released from it each month since Sep '23.

Others include "Questions" feat. Amber Navran & Dylan Graham  (Sep '23), "Keep On" feat. Jussi Halme & Ayelle (Oct '23), "Knots" feat. Reva DeVito (Nov '23), "Fountain" feat Jussi Halme (Dec '23) and "Sweet Spot" (Jan '24).

We think that "Your Love" this is one of the best so far along with "Questons" but you can check them all out on Bandcamp where you can pre-order the full album.

BeMyFiasco [2021] - Where I Left You [The Foreign Exchange Music] (Full Album)

One 'missed' on Friday in the 'frantic Friday release rush' is the album "Where I Left You" from BeMyFiasco. I did give the 30 second samples a cursory listen but nothing appeared to 'grab me' on first flick through. After a discussion with a certain radio presenter I agreed to give it another listen and actually there are several good tracks on it. It just shows that 30 second samples are not enough to get a full appreciation of many tunes, especially when there are so  many releases to wade through!

The track that seems to be receiving most interest is "Love Feels", however "Through The Middle", "Caramel" and "Outside The Lines" are all  great tracks.

BeMyFiasco is actually Bianca Rodriguez from Dallas, TX. who's released around eight singles since 2016. This is her debut album. She featured on a single by Zo! & Tall Black Guy "Talkin' To Myself " in March this year
